To Never Live

Sage words remind us that “everyone dies, but some never really live.” Finding your passion, though a life-long journey for some, is a voyage that rarely results in disappointment.

Popular publications and well meaning high-school teachers, have for years cautioned against holding on to one’s “dreams” at the peril of one’s education or pecuniary realities. This pedagogical stance is rooted in prudence and does have its place. At the same time, to abandon one’s true passion in the name of responsibility is a well-answered call to martyrdom that should be thought through a little more carefully.

The Dave Matthews Band contends that “the future is no place to place your better days.” What can you do today to bring your passion to life?
